The Austrian HPC Meeting 2017 – AHPC17 was held March 1-3, 2017, at Seeblickhotel-Grundlsee in Grundlsee (Styria, Austria).
Bringing together scientists and technicians with a background and interest in supercomputing, the conference focused on several aspects of state-of-the-art topics, as well as on the future development of HPC in Austria. Recent developments and trends for efficient and successful supercomputer applications were presented and discussed in keynote lectures and presentations.
AHPC17 was also intented as a platform to make use of inherent synergies and foster the exchange of knowledge and information to promote fruitful collaborations thus enhancing sustainable HPC developments in Austria.
AHPC17 was organized by the Research Area Scientific Computing of the University of Innsbruck in close cooperation with the Vienna Scientific Cluster (VSC).
